Targeted BAC library construction & screening
Non gridded BAC library
In order to direct focus on genomic region of interest in specific genotype and rapidly isolate BAC clones spanning a genomic region we have developed a non gridded BAC libraries strategy. The aim of this approach is to avoid time and cost expensive steps of BAC clones organization in microplates in order to access more efficiently the diversity among plant cultivars in specific region.
Macroarrays are essential tools for genomes structural and functional analysis. We use an automated robotic system (Q-Pix, Genetix) to produce different densities arrays.
We perform a screening service by macroarray hybridization. This method allows a fast access to a sequence of interest.
DNA Pool production
Pooling strategy permits to decrease the number of PCR reactions needed to screen an entire genomic library by PCR.
PCR Pool screening
In order to enable interesting clones identification, CNRGV provides PCR screenings on DNA pools. After assessing your needs, we can rapidly identify clones.
