Ekaterina Sergeeva has received PhD degrees in Genetics from the Institute of Cytology and Genetics at Novosibirsk-Russia in 2010.
She arrived at CNRGV in October 2010 and she will stay until December.

The aims of her project are the construction of a non-gridded BAC-library of wild emmer Triticum dicoccoides, and the screening of T . dicoccoides and the T. aestivum (CS) BAC-libraries with specific markers to Vrn1 and Ne1 loci, located on 5B chromosome.
