Genséric Beydon has obtained his bachelor's degree in Plants Biotechnologies, Genetic Improvement of Plants, at the ENFA (National School of Agronomical Formation) in Toulouse. He carried out his training course at INRA (Bordeaux), in the Forest Pole . He was involved in a project aiming at characterizing the inter-specific variability of CCR gene (cinnamoyl-CoA-reductase gene) in Eucalyptus.

He joined the CNRGV in November 2009 and assists the technical team in all the activities of the laboratory.
