The CNRGV conducts a carbon footprint calculation for the year 2022 with the objective of identifying potential avenues for reducing the emissions of greenhouse gases (GHG) resulting from our activities.
For this, our sustainable development referent David Pujol utilizes the “GES 1point5” tool developed by the Labos1point5.org French research group.
The CNRGV's greenhouse gas emissions are estimated to be 296 tonnes of CO2 equivalent in 2022.
Based on this first-ever estimate, we began categorizing the various emission sources to consider possible actions to reduce our carbon footprint.
To make a difference, we need to alter not only our daily habits, but also our methods for addressing scientific inquiries from our collaborators.
