The CNRGV welcomes Amel Benarbia for an internship during her gap year between M1 and M2 in bioinformatics in Montpellier.
Her work is carried out as part of the VitOmics project supported by Plant2pro and led by Marina de Miguel Vega (researcher at the Vine Ecophysiology and Functional Genomics laboratory - INRAE in Bordeaux).
Under the direction of William Marande (INRAE-CNRGV), Amel studies the genetic diversity of vine rootstocks.
She works on the construction and analysis of a pangenome in order to identify genetic variations explaining drought adaptation phenotypes.
