As part of the " Earth BioGenome Project" official launch, Hélène Bergès has presented the " Implications for Agriculture".

One of the first goals of the " Earth BioGenome Project"  is to sequence, catalog and characterize the genomes of all of Earth’s eukaryotic biodiversity over a period of ten years. And to create a new foundation for biology to drive solutions for preserving biodiversity and sustaining human societies.

This ambitious project is coordinated with worldwide partners (governments, scientists, citizen scientists and students) from the United States, the European Union, China, Brazil, Canada, Australia and some African countries.
