The High Molecular Weight DNA is the prerequisite for the services proposed by the CNRGV such as the "long reads" sequencing or the production of optical maps .
The quality of the DNA is highly related to the quality of the plant material used. Very young leaves used quickly after collection are the best guarantee to obtain high quality DNA.
Based on this, we propose you to produce of the plant material necessary for your project. We have a culture chamber (Phytotron) to grow young leaves from seeds under controlled conditions (temperature, humidity, light). Thus the samples are fresh and preserved from damage due to transportation. The seedlings are kept until the validation of the first extraction which allows a second sampling if necessary.
