Joelle Fourment has arrived at INRAE in 1980 at the Toulouse center to first work at LIPME as a laboratory technician before joining CNRGV at its creation in 2004, rising to the rank of assistant engineer.

In the laboratory, she set up and carried out the validation, duplication and screening protocols for genomic libraries.

She was in charge of the buying and management of the equipment required for the CNRGV's activities, always obtaining the best deals! She has been the equipment responsible since the creation of the laboratory until now.

Passionate about computers and new technologies, she has actively contributed in the development of the computer applications used for the traceability of samples and the management of consumables and materials of the laboratory. 

Joelle, we thank you warmly for your investment throughout these years and we wish you a very nice retirement.
