Alleles of a wall-associated kinase gene account for three of the major northern corn leaf blight resistance loci in maize.

This new publication on corn leaf blight resistance is the result of our collaboration with Daniela Scheuermann ( KWS)

For this project, we produced and screened BAC libraries for 5 maize genotypes.

BAC clones sequenced using PacBio long reads provided a reliable basis for genes comparison.
