Ralstonia solanacearum

Ralstonia solanacearum is a plant pathogen bacterium found on all continents, especially in tropical and subtropical regions. Present in the soil it colonizes plants through the xylem causing bacterial rot or bacterial blight in many host plants. It is known to affect more than 53 botanical families and is responsible for disease such as the brown rot of potato or the banana's Moko.
