CNRGV, The French Plant Genomic Resource Center is both a service provider and repository of plant genomes and data. Based in Toulouse, is a unique service center for plant genomics in France.

New Genomic BAC Libraries available:

The main missions of the center are to centralize and maintain BAC and cDNA libraries of model, crop plants and micro-organisms interacting with plants.

New services:

BAC library construction
We perform the different steps required to produce BAC libraries :
• cell nuclei extraction from frozen material
• HMW DNA partial digestion - sizing of DNA fragments
• ligation - cloning - colony picking
• quality tests and characterization of the library
Various projects on model or crop plants are already ongoing.

Screening services
DNA pools are already available for several BAC libraries:
• 2 Dimensional pools: Wheat (Renan, Chinese spring), Pepper, Rapeseed
• 3 Dimensional pools: Wheat (3B chromosome specific library), Tomato
